Our extra-curricular highlights
Debating and public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.
Sport
At our school, students enjoy a state-of-the-art multipurpose sports court and have the opportunity to join Public School Sports Association (PSSA) teams to compete in friendly competitive sports with other local schools. We have Softball, Netball, League Tag and Soccer teams. We also host swimming, athletics, and cross-country carnivals, offering pathways for students to advance and compete at higher levels.
Band
Our band program offers both small group and whole band lessons before and after school, led by The Music Suite. Students have the opportunity to learn and play a variety of instruments, including trumpets, guitars, drums, violins, and more. This program is designed to nurture musical skills, teamwork, and a love for performing in a supportive and fun environment.
Junior and Senior Choir
We offer engaging choir groups for students in K-2 and 3-6, providing a wonderful opportunity to develop their singing skills and confidence. Students in these choirs have the chance to perform at various school events throughout the year, as well as at our exciting annual showcase, celebrating their talents and hard work.
Dance Group
Our weekly dance groups for K-2 and 3-6 students offer a fun and energetic way to learn new dance skills. Students develop coordination, rhythm, and confidence while enjoying creative movement. There are also exciting opportunities to showcase their talents through performances at school events.
Chess
At our school, we offer weekly chess club sessions for all students, providing a fun and competitive environment to develop strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Gardening
Our gardening club offers students a hands-on opportunity to connect with nature while learning valuable skills in growing and caring for plants. By cultivating their own vegetables, students develop responsibility, patience, and an understanding of healthy eating. Plus, they get to take home the fresh produce they grow, making the experience both rewarding and delicious!
