Mother's and Other's Morning Tea
Date: Friday 8 May
Time: 8am-10am
We warmly invite all parents, carers, and special guests to join us for our Mothers & Others Day BBQ, starting at 8:30am. After the BBQ, open classrooms for our K-2 students will run from 9:15am to 10:00am. Come along to celebrate, connect with our school community, and experience the wonderful learning happening in our Kindergarten, Year 1, and Year 2 classrooms. We look forward to seeing you there!
Amazing Me
Date: Wednesday 13 May and Thursday 14 May
Time: All Day
Amazing Me is an interactive education program designed for primary school students, focusing on personal development, body awareness, and positive relationships. Through age-appropriate workshops and resources, Amazing Me encourages students to build confidence, respect for themselves and others, and a healthy understanding of their bodies.
Artist of the Term
Date: Thursday 19 June
Time: 10am
Our upcoming assembly will proudly feature the Artist of the Term from each class, recognising students for their outstanding creativity and effort in their artwork. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the amazing talent and imagination across the school. Adding to the excitement, our K-2 choir will also perform, showcasing their musical skills and bringing joy to the assembly. We look forward to a fantastic celebration of the arts!
Kindergarten Zoo Excursion
Date: Friday 26 June
Time: 9am- 2pm
Kindergarten students will soon embark on an exciting excursion to Taronga Zoo! This hands-on experience will provide a wonderful opportunity for students to explore wildlife up close, learn about animal habitats, and engage with interactive exhibits. The trip promises to be a fun and educational day filled with discovery and adventure, perfect for nurturing curiosity and a love of nature. More details, including date and permission notes, will be shared with families shortly.
GRPS Grand Prix
Date: Tuesday 30 June
Time: 11:45am-2pm
Stage 3 students are gearing up for the first-ever GRPS Grand Prix! After an exciting MotoKinetic incursion featuring an actual Ferrari race car, students have worked in teams to design their own logos and build billycarts with expert engineers. These teams will race on a custom track, and the winning team will be awarded a 3D-printed trophy designed by our students. Everyone is invited to cheer on the racers, enjoy treats from the Messina ice cream cart, drinks, lolly bags, keyrings, and a sausage sizzle lunch. Don’t miss this action-packed day celebrating creativity, teamwork and engineering!
